BOOSTLOG final conference: Boosting the impact of freight transport and logistics EU funded research

Starting in January 2020, BOOSTLOG is a 3 year Coordination & Support Actions (CSA) project funded by Horizon 2020. BOOSTLOG Vision is transforming European freight transport and logistics R&I ecosystem to perform optimally boosting impact generation out of R&I investment contributing to EU policy objectives towards climate neutrality, pollution, congestion and noise reduction, free movement of goods, internal security, digital transformation of logistics chains and data sharing logistics ecosystems and supports companies sustainability and competitiveness generating value for the society.

Objectives of the final event:

The BOOSTLOG final event aims to reach out all types of stakeholders in the logistics innovation ecosystem to:

  • disseminate outcomes of the BOOSTLOG project including its eight Cloud Reports, valorization strategies, recommendations for future research and innovation priorities
  • Highlight the achievements of ALICE Innovation Award winners
  • create opportunities for networking and sharing experiences in innovation uptakes among stakeholders
  • raise awareness of EU funded R&I activities among industry leaders and motivate them to engage with EU funded projects


The event considered of a small exhibition, presentations and panel discussions, and ALICE Innovation award ceremony:

  • Conference (BOOSTLOG Final conference_agenda)
  • Exhibition: posters of all BOOSTLOG Cloud Reports on various topics in logistics.
  • Award ceremony: the BOOSTLOG consortium has identified successful implementation cases, i.e. successful implementation of R&I project results as tangible outcomes. To highlight such achievements, ALICE Innovation Awards were given to those organizations who translated R&I project results into new business, products or policy measures. At the final event, all award winners will be invited to celebrate their achievements.
