[POLIS – ALICE Webinar] Find Space For Mobility and Logistics Data #5

Friday, October 2nd, 2026

The future of logistics and mobility hinges on our ability to collect, share, and act on meaningful data. The “Find Space for Mobility & Logistics Data” webinar series brings together leaders, innovators, and practitioners to explore how digital tools, data spaces, and interoperable frameworks can unlock the full potential of logistics and urban freight. With a special focus on collaboration and real-world applications, this series aims to foster shared understanding and actionable insights for the future of data-driven mobility and logistics.
Through case studies and expert insights from Smart Ways to Antwerp and Solvesall, participants will gain a deeper understanding of ways by which digital solutions can drive sustainable urban mobility/logistics solutions through fostering innovation and improving operational efficiency.
Use cases:
  • Smart Ways to Antwerp: initiative started to maintain accessibility in and around the city during the various major infrastructure works in the The ‘Smart Ways to Antwerp’ Antwerp area; however its scope rapidly expanded and has become part of the city’s SUMP and regional strategy to promote sustainable urban mobility as well as a platform for cooperation between the public and private sector. Antwerp invites and allows service providers to come to Antwerp to use the city as a living lab, to go beyond carrying out a pilot to see whether something works on a larger scale. In the context of GOLIA, there is an upgrade the Smart Ways to Antwerp initiatives to align with MaaR and upscale it to the FUA.
  • Solvesall: with more than 15 years of experience building novel mobility solutions, large scale production systems, mobile applications, and IoT (Internet of Things) services, Solvesall seeks to foster innovation, competitiveness, efficiency, and sustainability. Their use case with Pošta Slovenije, entitled “Optimization of delivery points” presents the development and implementation of a system for visualizing, optimizing and navigating delivery routes, and thus a comprehensive digital transformation of the delivery process at Pošta Slovenije. The initative was recognised as the Best Logistics Product of the Year at the Keep IT Simple 2025 conference.
The webinar will conclude with an update presentation of the launched ALICE Digital Urban Freight (DUF) community, which aims to contribute to operational digitalisation of urban freight by gathering the diverse experiences of practitioners.
