[SEAMLESS Webinar] Automated container stowage planning for Inland water way and shortsea shipping

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026

The webinar will showcase VCOP, a web-based application facilitating container loading and discharging operations and supporting vessel operators, cargo owners, cargo bookers, bay planners, port operators, cargo cranes and truck drivers.

The session will demonstrate how VCOP enables autonomous stowage planning based on cargo bookings, taking vessel properties and sailing schedules into account to achieve sea/river-worthy conditions. It will also show how VCOP integrates with other platforms, including TOS and loading equipment such as an autonomous crane. These interfaces provide situational awareness to the Remote Operation Center (ROC), illustrating how the different elements can interact in an automated operational environment.

Speakers:

  • Janne Suominen – Project Manager, B.Sc., M. Eng.
  • Tero Sairanen – Master Mariner
