[Webinar] Insights, Perspectives and results from the Intermodal Transport Survey and Resilience Transport Networks Projects

Wednesday, March 25th, 2026

Understanding how intermodal transport is planned, implemented, and experienced in practice is essential for strengthening resilience and efficiency in European logistics networks. This webinar is centrally focused on the Intermodal Transport Survey, presenting its objectives, structure, and initial reflections, and inviting the logistics community to actively engage with its findings and next steps.

The session will place the survey in its broader policy and innovation context, with a short overview of upcoming policy and funding opportunities and a reflection on resilience and intermodality from a network and Physical Internet perspective. Key results and innovations from the SARIL and ReMuNet projects will be briefly highlighted to illustrate how survey insights connect to ongoing European initiatives and the ALICE Resilient Transport Network Programme, including related activities at TRA.

At the core of the webinar, the Intermodal Transport Survey will be presented in detail, followed by reflections on what the responses reveal, how they can inform future research, policy, and industry action, and how stakeholders can contribute.

The webinar will close with a discussion on next steps and opportunities for continued engagement around the survey and its outcomes.
