[SEAMLESS Webinar] End-to-End Trustworthiness in Autonomous Waterborne Logistics – Insights from SEAMLESS
Wednesday, May 27th, 2026
This webinar will explore the cybersecurity challenges and trust requirements of autonomous maritime logistics systems through the perspective of the European project SEAMLESS.
The session will begin with a keynote presentation by Dr. Olivier Jacq on the evolving threat landscape for autonomous maritime systems, covering emerging cyber risks affecting autonomous vessels, connected infrastructures, and remote operations.
The webinar will then present how SEAMLESS addresses the cybersecurity and resilience challenges associated with fully autonomous and remotely operated waterborne logistics services. The discussion will highlight how autonomy introduces new attack surfaces targeting sensors, communications, AI-driven decision-making, and remote vessel control capabilities
Finally, the webinar will discuss the importance of end-to-end trust, resilience, and security-by-design approaches to ensure safe, reliable, and economically viable autonomous maritime transport services.
