Save the Date: Urban Logistics Innovation Day & Final Event of GREEN-LOG and DECARBOMILE

ALICE is pleased to invite you to save the date for the 4th edition of the Urban Logistics Innovation Day, which will also host the final event of the GREEN-LOG and DECARBOMILE projects, taking place on 18 June 2026 in Brussels. 

The event will be held at COMET Louise and is co-organised with POLIS Network and ALICE, bringing together city representatives, policymakers, logistics operators, researchers, and industry experts from across Europe. 

Addressing the challenges of growing urban freight 

With urban freight transport rapidly increasing due to e-commerce and expanding business activity, cities are facing mounting challenges related to congestion, emissions, and last-mile delivery efficiency. Addressing these challenges requires innovation, collaboration, and scalable solutions. 

This event will provide a unique platform for stakeholders to exchange knowledge and explore how innovative logistics solutions can support cities and businesses in achieving their sustainability goals. 

What to expect 

Participants will have the opportunity to: 

  • Discover key results and lessons learned from the GREEN-LOG and DECARBOMILE pilot actions  
  • Explore innovative urban logistics solutions and their replication potential  
  • Engage with public and private stakeholders shaping the future of sustainable urban logistics  

The programme will include keynote speeches, plenary sessions, breakout discussions, and workshops, covering topics such as data spaces, digital tools integration, consumer behaviour, urban space optimisation, and last-mile planning solutions. 

Programme highlights 

The day will start with a welcome session and keynote speeches, followed by a plenary session on data spaces and digital tool integration. Breakout sessions will address topics including: 

  • Consumer engagement and behavioural change  
  • Flexible use of urban space and optimisation  
  • Real-time and connected tools for last-mile logistics  
  • Replicability and scalability of solutions  

The event will conclude with a closing plenary focused on policy insights, highlighting contributions from both projects and broader perspectives on urban mobility and logistics policy.
