ALICE is glad to welcome MinervaS, a university spin-off and innovative startup from the University of Salerno to the community. MinervaS develops smart technologies for sustainable mobility, bridging academic research and market-ready solutions to support cities and companies in their energy transition.
At the core of its work is ENAIDE, a patented plug-and-play Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) designed to optimise vehicle speed and acceleration in real time. Using V2X data- including traffic, road slope, weather, speed limits, and payload- ENAIDE improves energy efficiency by up to 30%, without increasing travel time or requiring vehicle modifications.
Fully adaptable to conventional, hybrid, electric, and hydrogen-powered vehicles, ENAIDE enables smarter driving that delivers both environmental and economic benefits for fleets. With its modular, data-driven design, the system aligns closely with ALICE’s mission to decarbonise freight and optimise logistics operations through technology and innovation.
MinervaS also offers a broader suite of smart mobility solutions, including eco-driving advisors, fleet optimisation tools, and real-time energy management systems. Their work combines AI, IoT, and data analytics to deliver measurable CO₂ reductions and performance improvements in diverse transport environments.
MinervaS’ co-pilot shifts the focus from fleet-managers towards on-board management combining real-time vehicle data, road info and fleet-operation leveraging digital twins, machine learning and AI.
As a new ALICE member, MinervaS aims to actively engage in collaborative R&I projects, bring forward-use cases from pilot deployments, and contribute to discussions on energy-efficient, intelligent transport systems. The company is particularly interested in cross-sector cooperation on vehicle data integration, predictive energy optimisation, and sustainable fleet management.
