Digital Logistics Center of Excellence joins ALICE to accelerate eFTI implementation and interoperable digital freight transport

Wednesday, August 19th, 2026

ALICE is pleased to welcome Digital Logistics Center of Excellence as a new member, strengthening the community’s expertise in eFTI implementation, digital freight transport and interoperable data exchange.

The Digilogistika Keskus (DLK) is a competence hub dedicated to the digitalisation of freight transport and supply chains across Europe. Building on years of experience in logistics digitalisation, the organisation supports authorities, logistics operators and software providers in preparing for the implementation of the Electronic Freight Transport Information (eFTI) Regulation and electronic consignment note (eCMR) solutions.

DLK provides technical expertise throughout the implementation journey, including technical consulting, conformance testing, component development, integration support and onboarding services for both technical and non-technical audiences. The organisation also delivers training programmes for SMEs, public authorities and logistics professionals, helping stakeholders build the capabilities required for digital freight transport.

As a partner in the eFTI4EUeFTI4ALL and eFTI4LIVE projects, DLK operates interoperable test environments and pilots for eFTI Gates, eFTI platforms and eCMR solutions. Its work focuses on designing, testing and scaling interoperable logistics solutions that enable secure, standardised and seamless data exchange across the European transport ecosystem.

Beyond implementation support, DLK contributes to the development of future digital freight networks by combining expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning and real-time supply chain visibility with practical experience in European legislation, digital standards and interoperability. The organisation’s vision is to create a global, event-driven digital freight network that supports more efficient, sustainable and resilient supply chains.

By joining ALICE, the Digilogistika Keskus aims to collaborate with European stakeholders to accelerate the deployment of eFTI and eCMR, strengthen interoperability across transport modes and contribute to seamless, data-driven and sustainable freight transport across Europe.
