Has your organisation successfully turned publicly funded research and innovation into a solution delivering measurable impact? Applications are now open for the ALICE Logistics Innovation Award 2026.
The ALICE Logistics Innovation Award recognises organisations that have successfully implemented results from publicly funded research and innovation projects, taking them beyond the research phase and turning them into commercial solutions, market applications, standards, policies or regulatory recommendations.
Across Europe, research and innovation programmes support the development and testing of new technologies, services, operational models and collaborative approaches. However, moving from a successful pilot to wider implementation can be challenging. It requires long-term commitment, effective collaboration, a clear business or implementation case, and the ability to demonstrate value in real operating conditions.
Through the Logistics Innovation Award, ALICE aims to recognise organisations that have overcome these challenges and generated lasting value for the logistics and supply chain community.
Applications are welcomed from organisations that have successfully implemented innovations originating from projects funded by the European Commission, EU Member States or regional governments.

Applications may cover commercial products and services, operational solutions, business models, standards, policy measures or regulatory recommendations.
The Award provides an opportunity to showcase how investment in research and innovation can lead to practical results for the logistics sector.
Selected organisations will gain visibility among industry representatives, researchers, policymakers, public authorities, investors and potential collaboration partners. Their experiences will also provide valuable lessons for future European, national and regional research and innovation programmes.
By sharing implementation journeys, applicants can help other organisations understand how barriers to deployment can be addressed and how successful solutions can be replicated or scaled across different markets and supply chains.
The winners will be announced during the ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit, taking place on 17-18 November 2026 at the Tangla Hotel in Brussels.
The Summit will bring together members of the European logistics innovation community to exchange knowledge, explore emerging priorities and strengthen collaboration between industry, research organisations, public institutions and policymakers.
Applications must be submitted through the online application form by 13 September 2026.
ALICE encourages organisations to share cases that demonstrate how research and innovation have been converted into practical solutions, measurable improvements and lasting impact.
