[Webinar] Automotive Partnership and EURIAS expert group
Monday, April 6th, 2026

The
European Automotive Partnership preparation has reached an important milestone with the launch of the
EURIAS expert group and the preparation of the
Strategic Research, Innovation and Deployment Agenda (SRIDA). This webinar will provide an update on the latest developments and highlight how ALICE and its members are contributing to shaping the future EU automotive and logistics innovation agenda.
Key Updates from the Automotive Partnership
In September 2025, the Memorandum of Understanding on the Automotive Partnership was signed, paving the way towards a possible future Joint Undertaking. Two key deliverables have already been published in 2026:
The EURIAS expert group was established to provide structured input to the SRIDA. Following a highly competitive selection process, the group held its kick-off meeting on 27 March in Brussels. During the meeting the EC proposed to work on four subgroups:
- Electric Vehicle technologies
- Digital and Connected Vehicles
- Road mobility ecosystem
- Automotive industrial processes
ALICE is an active member of the EURIAS expert group and is working closely with its members and partner platforms, including
2ZERO,
ERTRAC,
CCAM and
EUCAR, to ensure that logistics and commercial vehicle perspectives are well represented. Together, eight Flagships are being defined to address key bottlenecks in innovation deployment, which will be integrated in the 4 sub-groups proposed by the Commission.
What to Expect from the Webinar
During the webinar, participants will:
- receive an up-to-date overview of the Automotive Partnership and the SRIDA process,
- gain first-hand insights from ALICE and its members involved in the EURIAS expert group and Flagship development, and
- learn about upcoming opportunities to contribute.
This webinar is particularly relevant for ALICE members and stakeholders interested in automotive, commercial vehicles, logistics innovation and EU research and deployment priorities under FP10.
