The future of logistics and mobility hinges on our ability to collect, share, and act on meaningful data. The “Find Space for Mobility & Logistics Data” webinar series, initiated by ALICE, brings together thought leaders, innovators, and practitioners to explore how digital tools, data spaces, and interoperable frameworks can unlock the full potential of logistics and urban freight. With a special focus on collaboration and real-world applications, this series aims to foster shared understanding and actionable insights for the future of data-driven mobility and logistics. This special episode of the series is also part of the POLISALICE collaboration framework.

This session will spotlight two pioneering initiatives shaping the future of urban logistics through data and digital tools. The LogE-Hubs project, supported by EIT Urban Mobility, will share the final results from its pilot deployments across European cities, showcasing their digital platform for dynamic planning of logistics hubs. In parallel, GREENLOG will present its advanced system for logistics-as-a-service platfom, designed to support more efficient, data-driven last-mile operations. Together, these contributions will offer concrete examples of how data-centric approaches are redefining urban freight management.

This webinar is an opportunity for city representatives, policy makers and logistics operators to learn more about the ongoing work carried out by the EU-funded projects LogE-Hubs and GREENLOG

PRELIMINARY AGENDA

Background information:

LogE-Hubs is an urban logistics innovation project funded by EIT Urban Mobility, aiming to enhance logistics hub efficiency through digital platforms and AI-driven decision-making. The project focuses on real-time data integration, sustainable urban mobility, and optimised last-mile logistics to support smart city development. LogE-Hubs operates in two key urban locations: Las Rozas (Spain) and Braga (Portugal), where pilot demonstrations will showcase AI-enhanced urban logistics hubs. The project is led by Urban Radar (France), with dissemination support from ALICE and collaboration with municipalities and logistics stakeholders. This initiative runs until 2025 and unites multiple partners from logistics, urban planning, and digital innovation sectors, ensuring diverse expertise and practical implementations across European cities.

GREEN-LOG is a Horizon-Europe funded project (101069892) on Cooperative and Interconnected Green delivery solutions towards an era of optimized zero emission last-mile Logistics. The project establishes city platforms comprising of inclusive stakeholder Urban Living Labs for nurturing social innovation, designing and deploying innovative delivery solutions while allowing the most effective exchange of ideas, the development of robust, harmonized regulatory and policy frameworks, and cooperative business models that build upon effective public/private-sector collaboration and joint investments. The GREEN-LOG approach provides an innovative simulation environment for scenario building combining different solutions that allow the integration of last-mile delivery interventions with the highest possible impact on environmental sustainability and traffic reduction, while considering their financial viability. On the operational level, GREEN-LOG provides cargo-bike based innovations for sustainable micro-consolidation design and deployments, multimodal parcel deliveries integrating public transportation, Logistic as a Service platforms for interconnected city logistics and automated delivery concepts with the use of autonomous vehicles and delivery droids. The solutions are supported by interconnected city logistics dataspaces that feed dynamic services for proactive optimization of the ecosystem, respecting the interests of consumers, businesses and city stakeholders. The approach is deployed and validated in five cities and areas: Athens, Barcelona, Flanders, Oxfordshire and Ispra
