5th International Physical Internet Conference, 18-22 June 2018

The 5th International Physical Internet Conference takes place from 18-22 June 2018 in Groningen, The Netherlands. The University of Groningen organizes this large international conference on Physical Internet together with the Dutch logistics sector. We are looking forward to welcoming guests from industry, academia and governmental organizations.

The Program        
We are putting together a strong and varied program for 2018 attendees, including a keynote session on “Current and Future Physical Internet Developments” by Sergio Barbarino, Chair of Alice and a keynote of Kristel Groenenboom, CEO Container Service C. Groenenboom B.V.

Other featured topics concern aspects related to logistics, for example: Sustainability, Material Handling Technologies, Governance, IT & Blockchain, City logistics & Operations, E-commerce, Law, Human Aspects, and Cybersecurity. Additionally, there will be a series of other events, including; serious gaming, a startup event, meet the CEO & future CEO, a poster session, company visits and more.

IPIC 2018 aims to provide an open forum for researchers, innovators and practitioners. Specifically, the conference focuses on insights for implementation steps of the Physical Internet in the coming five years. Visit our conference website to view our full draft conference program.
