On the Open day – 13 September<\/strong>, ERTICO- ITS Europe on behalf of the AEOLIX Consortium will welcome, with an exchange of needs and perspectives, the freight and logistics stakeholders\u00a0with presentations from experts of DG MOVE, INEA, ERTICO, MONDELEZ, IRU, T-Systems, International Port Community Systems Association (IPCSA), French Ministry of Transport\u00a0and\u00a0World Customs Organisation (WCO).<\/p>\n

\u00a0About AEOLIX<\/strong><\/p>\n

AEOLIX (Architecture for EurOpean Logistics Information eXchange) co-funded under the Horizon 2020 Programme and with an overall EC funding of 16 million, will develop a Pan European digital ecosystem<\/strong> to better manage, plan and synchronise freight and logistics<\/strong> operations. By enabling low complexity and low cost connectivity of local ICT platforms and systems and thereby scalable, trusted and secure exchange of information, AEOLIX will improve the overall competitiveness of goods transport in the supply chain, while simultaneously targeting sustainability from environmental, economic and social perspectives. AEOLIX platform will be implemented in 11 Living Labs whose locations is directly linked to the TEN-T network nodes across Europe.<\/p>\n
