{"id":4156,"date":"2020-12-01T16:47:51","date_gmt":"2020-12-01T14:47:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.etp-logistics.eu\/?p=4156"},"modified":"2020-12-01T16:47:51","modified_gmt":"2020-12-01T14:47:51","slug":"large-scale-survey-on-curb-side-management-for-passengers-and-freight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.etp-logistics.eu\/large-scale-survey-on-curb-side-management-for-passengers-and-freight\/","title":{"rendered":"Large-scale survey on curb side management for passengers and freight"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"color: #4678b4;\"><strong>Do we have enough space for delivery operations in cities?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.etp-logistics.eu\/\">ALICE<\/a> <\/strong>(logistics), <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/polisnetwork.eu\/\">POLIS<\/a> <\/strong>(Cities) and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europeanparking.eu\/\">EPA <\/a><\/strong>(Parking) are exploring the opportunities to improve parking management and urban logistics delivery spaces with the support of FIT Consulting and Erasmus University Rotterdam.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking into opportunities to combine access management with flexible and shared use of urban space and parking.<\/p>\n<p>With a short questionnaire we will collect some information that could help steer the discussion on curb management among members of these 3 associations and to define the main opportunities and challenges to be addressed in the near future. This survey is carried out with the support of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uitp.org\/\">UITP<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center; color: #4678b4;\">This survey will take you only <strong>5 minutes<\/strong> of your time and is <a href=\"https:\/\/erasmusuniversity.eu.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_0PV7vBbrFsYzx2d\"><strong>accessible at this link<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The results will be presented and discussed at the joint<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.etp-logistics.eu\/?p=4157\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> POLIS-ALICE-EPA working session on Flexible access &amp; space management<\/a> <\/strong>to discuss current experiences with zonal management of public space, and assess what is needed to make this integrated approach into reality in the decade to come.<\/p>\n<p>Follow up activities and actions are envisioned for 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do we have enough space for delivery operations in cities?
